The urgent hearing on a plea seeking to promote the National Anthem is refused by the Supreme Court today. J S Khehar, the Chief Justice which headed the bench declined it.
The Petition as per the sources news stated that "There is only one nationality i.e Indian, one national anthem i.e Jana Gana Mana, one national song i.e. Vande Mantram and one flag i.e Tiranga and it is duty of every Indian to respect these Symbols"
The Court on November 30 last year ordered cinema halls to play the National Anthem before the screening of a movie.
