Man takes 10 Lakh rupees on the pretext of marriage

Indore: On the wedding website, a young man, claiming to be unmarried, has cheated Rs 10 lakh with a girl from Indore. According to the Rau police, on the report of a 30-year-old woman living in a labor colony, a case of fraud has been filed against accused Sameer Verma, who lives in Manas Nagar, Betul.

Police said that the victim had uploaded her resume on the website for marriage. On this, accused Samin contacted the family of the woman and said to get married. The young man told the girl's family that she is unmarried. He has studied MBA and Engineering, then the family agreed to the marriage but this matter caught up when this news came out.

On 5 December 2019, the accused young man took 2.5 lakh rupees from the girl's family in the name of marriage arrangements. After a few days, again after cheating and asked for some more money. According to the girl's family, the accused had cheated 10 lakh rupees from several sisters. On suspicion of this matter, the girl's family investigated and then the whole matter came to light that the young man was already married. After this, the victim girl has made a complaint to the police. According to the police, a team has been sent in search of the accused.
