Goa schools reopen for Classes 10, 12 amid corona protocols

Panaji: Corona epidemic is wreaking havoc in India. The total number of corona infected in the country has now crossed 9 million. All government and private schools in the country have been closed for the last eight months due to the global epidemic coronavirus. However, classes of class X and XII have started in Goa schools on Saturday, 21 November. Goa officials have given information in this regard.

According to the officials, the state government has ordered the schools to take full care of the safety of the students. Strictly follow the Corona Epidemiological Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) such as thermal screening of students, applying masks, following the rules of social distancing in classrooms. Goa schools, which have been closed for almost eight months due to the epidemic, were allowed to start tenth and twelfth classes from 21 November in the initial phase of reopening by the government.

While giving information, a senior official of the state's education department has told that in Goa, schools opened on Saturday morning and classes of class X and XII were started. Schools are adopting all the necessary SOPs to ensure that the classes are safe.
