The crime case that has come up recently is from Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. A student of class 10 allegedly threw acid on four classmates, including three girls, on Saturday. Talking about this matter, the police said that, this case is from a school in Utpur. Where in the evening three students of class X and one student of class IX got burnt due to acid attack. The police further said that the attacker escaped after the incident. Police said that 'the school was open in the evening due to annual practical examination'. In this case, the victim, a student of class IX, said that shortly before the school was closed, the senior student came out of the science lab and threw acid on him with a beaker. Further, he also stated that he was sitting with three girls outside the classroom at the time of the incident and some acid fell on those girls as well. Speaking in the matter, Hamirpur SP Arjit Sen Thakur said that a police team was sent to the spot to investigate the matter. Further, he said that no formal complaint has been filed with the police so far and they are taking action on the basis of news reports on social media. In this case, the SP also said that four students have suffered minor burns and were sent home after treatment at a local clinic. At the same time, the school's principal has confirmed the attack and did not give any information.
