Hyderabad Zoo 125 year old plus-old Galapagos giant turtle

An interesting thing about the ancient creature in Hyderabad Zoo has been observed. In the premises at Nehru Zoological Park, tired chewing carrots and cucumbers is a 125-year-old plus-old Galapagos giant turtle. Weighing more than 200 kg, it is also the oldest resident of the city zoo that arrived here in 1969. Interestingly, another Galapagos turtle in the zoo is keeping the company with it, which is over 90 years old!

These huge turtles are listed as endangered species, known for their eco-thermal, i.e. cold-blooded, their intoxication and slow living. They run at 0.3 km/h and have a large bone shell. Zoo officials agree that the 125-year-old Galapagos turtle may be Hyderabad's oldest species of living.

The giant turtle's food, which is considered to be the longest living species in the animal kingdom, includes vegetables, fruits and cereals that take at their own pace. There is a history of galapagos attached to turtles, which are considered to be the largest living species of the tortoise and the 13th largest living reptile. Galapagos turtles belong to the Galapagos Archipelago Islands on the coast of Ecuador in South America and was identified by British naturalist Charles Darwin in 1835, he was surprised. This expedition and his studies and observations of flora and fauna form the origin of Darwin's evolutionary theory through natural selection.
