Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the general budget of 2021-22 on Monday. The country recovering from Corona had high expectations from this budget, now how much this budget has lived up to the expectations of the people, for this you will have to see some major announcements:- 1 - Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Rs 27.1 lakh crore has been announced as a self-sufficient package to deal with the corona epidemic. 2- In the year 2021-22, Rs 35,000 crore will be provided for the corona vaccine. The Finance Minister said that I am committed to providing funds if the need arises. 3- A new centrally sponsored scheme PM Atmanirbhar Swachh Bharat Scheme will be launched with 64,180 crores. Critical care hospitals will be built in 602 blocks. 4- One lakh 41 thousand crore rupees will be spent on Urban Clean India Mission 2.0. Two thousand crore rupees will be spent on clean air in the next five years. 5- 2,23,846 crore will be spent on health and family welfare in the year 2021-22. A self-sufficient health service will be introduced. The health budget is a total of two lakh 32 thousand crores. Last time this budget was 92 thousand crores. This time it has increased by 137 percent. 6- There are plans to open 758 Eklavya schools in tribal areas. A budget of Rs 38 crore will be spent on a school under Budget 2021-22. 7- The Finance Minister announced a special fund, in which it announced a scholarship of Rs 35 thousand crores for 04 crore students belonging to Scheduled Castes. 8- National Apprenticeship Training Scheme will be launched to prepare the youth from the point of view of skill development and training for better employment. At the same time, other projects will be included under the new National Education Policy. 9- He said that 100 new Sainik Schools will be built. Private-sector assistance will be taken for this. Central University to be built in Leh, Ladakh. 10- In the insurance sector, the government has announced to increase the FDI limit from 49% to 74%. Health insurance coverage is still up to 3-4 percent of the population in the country. 11- Government will accelerate the disinvestment process in FY 2022. A target has been set to achieve around Rs 1.75 lakh crore from disinvestment. 12 - A total provision of Rs 1.10 lakh crore has been made for the Railways in the budget this year. In this year's budget, along with the full focus on the facilities and safety of railway passengers, it has also been announced to make all the railway stations of the country world-class. 13- The Finance Minister said in the budget that now senior citizens above 75 years of age earning pension income will not be required to file tax returns. The tax audit limit has been increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore.
