New Delhi: 140 employees of Bajaj Auto's Valuj factory, among the country's top two-wheeler makers, have been found corona infected. This factory employs more than 8100 employees. Two employees who had hyper tension and diabetes have died due to corona infection. The company has currently denied closure in this factory due to Corona. High quality bikes are made in this factory, especially for export. Production began on April 24 after a month-long shutdown due to lockdown at the factory. The company's chief human resources officer Ravi Kairn Ramaswamy has said that we have received information that there are reports that our factory located in Valuj, Maharashtra has to be closed due to coronation to some members. He said that we want to tell that the normal work is going on in the construction unit in Valuj. Ramaswamy has further said that like the whole country, Bajaj Auto is also learning to live with the Coronavirus. We will try to continue our business operation as usual, we are taking necessary precautions. Another option is to shut down the factory with no work no pay rules. Due to this policy, our employees can be severely affected and the supply chain is also likely to be affected.
