The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Thursday announced that 18 Indian referees have been selected in the FIFA referee international list for 2022. AIFF said in a statement issued on his website that the list includes officers who are qualified to become referees and assistant referees. Accordingto it, the members on the list are eligible to act as referees in international level matches and have also been entitled to put FIFA badges on their dress in the year for which they have been listed. FIFA the annual list was prepared on the basis of nominations sent by the member countries and the officers are required to succeed in the fitness test. Out of the list of 18 referees selected from India, 4 women (2 referees and 2 assistant referees) and 14 men (6 referees and 8 assistant referees). The list of selected Indian officers is as follows. Male Referees: Tejas Nagwenkar, Sri Krishna Coimbatore Ramaswamy, Rowan Arumughan, Crystal John, Pranjal Banerjee, Venkatesh Ramachandran. Male Assistant Referees: Sumant Dutta, Antony Abraham, Tony Joseph Lewis, Vairamuthu Parashuraman, Samar Pal, Kennedy Sapam, Arun Sasidharan Pillai, Asit Kumar Sarkar. Women Referees: Ranjita Devi Tekcham, Kanika Burman. Women's Assistant Referee: Uvena Fernandes, Riohlang Dhar.
