25 dead due to fire in Australia, government gave $ 200 million package

Melbourne: PM Scott Morrison has announced to give 200 million Australian dollars (about one thousand crore rupees) to the Bush Fire Recovery Fund. The houses and infrastructure destroyed due to fire from this fund will be rebuilt in the next two years. At the same time, the fund will be made under the leadership of former Australian Federal Police Commissioner Andrew Colvin. Morrison said that this amount of 200 billion dollars will be different from the amount previously approved. This is the initial amount, which will be increased if needed.

According to information received from sources, Australia also deployed three thousand army personnel on Monday to help the fire fighting staff in the forest fire. Incidents of fire in the country's forests are not new, but this time its area is very large. In the grip of this, 25 people have died so far and more than 1300 houses have been completely destroyed. At the same time it is being said that not only this, vegetation has also been destroyed in 63 lakh hectare area. For the first time in the history of the country, the reserve soldiers of 3 Army wings have been called for relief and rescue work. As PM Morrison said, bridges, roads and other important infrastructure have to be rebuilt. We will do this work together. Army personnel will assist the state governments of New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. They will also ensure the safe evacuation of people from the affected areas.

Relief in some areas due to rain: It is reported that people have got relief due to the rain in some areas affected by the fire. However, due to the sudden rains, firefighters are facing difficulties in carrying out their strategic preparations. The temperature is expected to rise again by the end of this week.
