Meanwhile, another shocking case has come to light in which a major accident took place at Jeevanand Public School in Village Bay, Gannaur on Thursday. 27 children of class III were buried under the debris when the roof of a room collapsed in the school. Three labourers engaged in dumping soil on the roof were also buried in the debris and injured. After the same accident, the injured were evacuated to the hospital from where seven children have been referred to PGI Rohtak in a critical condition. The soil was being dumped on the raw roof of the third classroom at Jeevanand Public School in village Bay on Thursday. Due to this, the roof suddenly loaded and fell down. As a result, 27 children studying in the room and three labourers working on the terrace were injured. The school was shaken after the accident. The injured children were depleted to the hospital. The seven children were referred for serious conditions. These include Anshu, Lakshmi, Suraj, Skriti, Bhavana, Divya, and Saloni. The family members have admitted the children to private hospitals. First aid has been given to 20 children and 3 labourers. SDM Surendra Doohan, civil surgeon Jaikishore and the elder police station in-charge Devendra Kumar have also reached the spot after the accident. Police have started investigating the case.
