On Saturday, a BJP worker found was found dead West Bengal's tribal-dominated Jhargram district. The party has blamed the state's ruling Trinamool Congress for the man's death. In another incident, two BJP workers Ananta Guchait and Ranjit Maity were shot at on Saturday night in Bhagabanpur of East Medinipur district. BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya alleged that Trinamool workers entered his home and killed him. The area is tense after the BJP worker's death. Polling in West Bengal in almost all the phases has been marred by violence, primarily due to clashes between BJP and TMC workers. West Bengal has seen violence and clashes on polling days in the previous rounds of voting with workers of the Trinamool Congress and the BJP clashing in many parts of the state. Polling is underway for the sixth phase of elections in the country for 59 Lok Sabha seats, including 7 in Delhi, 8 in Bihar, 10 in Haryana, 8 in Madhya Pradesh, 14 in Uttar Pradesh, 8 in West Bengal and 4 in Jharkhand.
