PM Modi also raked up the issue of APJ Abdul Kalam’s renomination saying that the Bhartiya Janta Party wanted India’s missile man to return as the President of the country with consensus but it was not done.

In an exclusive interview, the PM questioned Congress asking why the post of party President was not given to a Muslim?

The Congress and the BJP are engaged in a bitter war of words over PM Modi’s “Gandhi family used warship INS Viraat as personal taxi” remark. The Congress got the chance to attack the Prime Minister when Time magazine featured him on its cover with the title “India’s Divider in Chief”.

However, BJP said that the article’s author was a Pakistani national and was pursuing his country’s agenda to malign PM Modi's image. Sambit Patra, while addressing a press conference said: "The author (Aatish Taseer) is a Pakistani citizen who calls Modi Ji a divider and Rahul Gandhi tweets about it. What can we expect from Pakistan?"
