Jabalpur: The Jabalpur police in Madhya Pradesh have started cracking down on objectionable or inflammatory posts on social media. Such people are being monitored. 3 persons have been arrested for making provocative posts on the social networking site. According to the information received, intensive interrogation is being conducted against Ashish Tiwari (50), a resident of Sadar Sadar, who posted the inflammatory song on the social networking portal, in connection with the said posts at Thana Cantt and Mushtaq Ansari (34), a resident of Subbashah Maidan and Anwar (48), a resident of Panchkuian, a resident of Police Station Hanumantal, registering an offence in accordance with law at Police Station Hanumantal and taking the trio into custody. The same Superintendent of Police Jabalpur Siddharth Bahuguna informed that through social media sites like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter, objectionable/provocative posts and messages related to caste and communal sentiments are sent by anti-social/malicious elements, it is a cognizable offence. He has urged the Sanskardhanis to neither share nor likes objectionable/provocative posts and messages and video footage related to caste and communal sentiments with anyone else. Any post posted on social media introducing a responsible citizen of Sanskardhani to maintain law and order is confirmed by the concerned SHO/City Superintendent of Police/Ati. If you feel that the post made is objectionable/provocative, report it immediately to your concerned police station so that lawful action can be taken against the person who put up the post. Don't take any step by being misled by anyone or on the basis of any rumour that creates a law and order situation.
