Narayanpur: A major fire broke out in a garment shop in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. According to the news, the fire caused by short circuit took a formidable avatar in no time. Soon the fire spread to the 3-storey textile shop. The fire brigade team reached the spot after getting information and is trying to extinguish the fire.

A fire broke out in the Mansarovar cloth shop present in the same City Kotwali area on Tuesday between 1 and 1.30 pm. The flames were so high that in no time the fire spread in the 3-storey clothes shop. Seeing the matter, the people around informed the police and fire department. The fire brigade team reached the spot after getting the news and is engaged in extinguishing the fire.

At the same time, when the fire broke out, there were more than 40 people inside the shop including customers and employees. Everyone was taken out in a hurry, but a total of 4 people including the owner, manager were trapped inside. After some time, three of them were taken out, but the manager remained trapped. The manager of the shop was burnt alive in the accident, whose body has been recovered by the police. The manager, who died in the accident, has been identified as Jainendra Jain, a resident of Khairagarh in Chhattisgarh. In the incident, clothes worth lakhs of rupees were gutted.
