Dhilwa: In the absence of any work for six months, the father of a 5-month-old girl jumped into the Beas River on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Surjit Singh (30) son Jaswinder Singh resident Mohalla Ramu Ki Patti. The young man had gone away from home last Wednesday without informing. The police has been investigating the complaint lodged with the police since the family had lodged a complaint with the police. The body of the deceased has been found under the Beas River Bridge with the help of divers service holders of religious places. The father of the deceased Surjeet said that his son worked in the private factory in the month of March. Due to lockdown, he missed his job due to the closure of the factory. Since then, my son was unemployed. He went out of the house without assigning it at 11 a.m. last Wednesday. Tried to find him, but he was nowhere to be found. The first call was not reachable and then it came switched off. The police informed that when the police searched the Beas River bank, slippers were found. The divers were unloaded in the river, but nothing was revealed. On Friday, police invited a private diver from the religious place. They found the body under the bridge. Investigating officer Balwinder Singh said that the case has been registered on the statement of the deceased's father Jaswinder Singh. The body has been sent for post mortem.
