42 students and three employees found infected due to violation of rules during the corona period

Amritsar: The Punjab government has closed all schools due to the corona epidemic, but a boarding school was running in Tangori village near Banud, just 25 kilometers from the state capital, keeping the rules in check. When the administration came to know about it, checking was done in the institute.

With this, corona testing of the children and staff studying in the school was conducted on the spot. During this period, 42 children and three staff members have been found infected with corona.  All the infected have been sent to the isolation center. While all others have been sent home and the school has been sealed. The director of the school has been booked for breaking the covid guideline. DC Girish Diyalan tweeted about the same.

As per the information received, the district administration had received a complaint that the boarding school near Tangori was running in violation of Career Point Gurukul rules. Children from seven to 12 years of age were being taught here. As soon as the matter came to notice, an inquiry team of health, police, and administration was constituted by the administration. The team reached the school with full preparation. There they saw that the school was open.
