South African tennis legend and two-time Grand Slam runner-up Kevin Anderson has retired from professional tennis at the age of 35 on Tuesday. Anderson, who is six feet eight inches tall, has lost to Rafael Nadal in the final of the US Open in 2017. After which he reached the final of Wimbledon in 2018 where he has to face defeat to Novak Djokovic. Anderson has also won 7 ATP Tour titles. These include the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships won in Newport in July last year. He said- It is because of tennis that I have come out of my roots in Johannesburg in South Africa and got exposed to the real world. Due to which I experienced many challenges and emotions.
