Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Lakhimpur. In Uttar Pradesh, two minor brothers in Lakhimpur Kheri district gang-raped and killed a six-year-old girl and the police today reported the case on Thursday. According to reports, the girl studying in Class I went missing on Tuesday afternoon and was last seen playing near the accused's house. According to reports, when the girl did not return home, her family went to find her but when they did not find her, they informed the police and then the police started a search.

The girl's body was found on Wednesday when the accused's mother confessed to the police that "when she found out that her sons had strangled and killed the girl, she helped her sons to hide the body." Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Station House Officer (SHO) Shyam Narayan Singh of Phulbehi Police Station said, "The body of the child was found about 200 meters away from the accused's house. The accused told us that they had lured the toffee and called the girl home."

In this case, there are reports that both the accused have dropped out of their studies and are 15 and 12 years old and are family laborers. The accused have confessed to raping the girl and both of them have confessed to the murder. Police have filed a case against both the accused and their mother in the case.
