This has first proved by a 68-year old Maharastra woman who took an adventure to climb up the steep steps of Harihar Fort, challenging that nothing, not even old-age, can stop her from living her life on her own terms. Following her footsteps, now another 68-year-old woman from Maharashtra is also setting an inspiring example for all that catches attention. The woman, identified as Rekha Devbhankar will be cycling 2200 kilo meter from Khamgaon in Buldhana district to the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra in Jammu, on her own, reports. Social media catches attention such kind of scenario. Literally, Twitter user Ratan Sharda tweeted, a video wherein the woman is speaking of her expedition. He captioned the video, under title “A 68-year-old Marathi lady is going to Vaishno Devi on her own, alone, by geared cycle. 2,200 kilo-meter from Khamgaon. Mother’s power with hash tag #MatruShakti.” As per Patrika local online newspaper, she left from Khamgaon on July 24. Rekha halts when it commences getting dark and covers almost 40 kilo meter per day. It goes without saying that Rekha is doing what most of us would not even think of.
