7 Pakistani migrants granted Indian citizenship say 'We came to India because...'

Jaipur: 7 migrants from Pakistan have been given citizenship of India in Jaipur. These include 3 couples and one person. These people were given citizenship certificates by District Collector Antar Singh Nehra of Jaipur. The Pakistani Hindu displaced were very happy after getting citizenship of India and expressed their happiness by feeding each other sweets.

A couple from Pakistan, Gordan Das, and his wife Gojar Mai told the media that we had reached Hindustan in 2012 from Rahim Yar Khan area of Punjab province of Pakistan, since then living in Mansarovar area of Jaipur. Gordan Das further said that about 170 people have been given Indian citizenship through the Nimittakam Sansthan to Pakistan displaced like them. He and his wife got citizenship in India after 9 years on Friday. Today is a very happy day for the couple. We have 5 children and we hope that it will not be difficult for the children to get citizenship in India.

At the same time, Ganesh Singh, who came from Pakistan, says that 'conversion from Pakistan to India is the reason for conversion. He told that in Pakistan children are forced to convert. There is a lot of atrocities. I am very happy to get citizenship in India today. At the same time, Jaipur District Collector Antar Singh Nehra wished for the bright future of these migrants, saying that I hope that they will work in the national interest.
