New Delhi: There is good news for central employees and pensioners amid the corona crisis. The government has given a big relief to crores of central employees and pensioners. The Central Government has extended the deadline for travelling allowance i.e. It has been fixed with a view to 15th June, 2021. It may be recalled that in March 2018, the Central Government had reduced the ta claim on retirement from 1 year to 60 days. According to the Finance Ministry, several government departments were asking the government to extend the deadline, after which the decision was taken. The Finance Ministry has said that several applications were received from government departments to extend the deadline. It is very difficult for a retiring Central employee to travel and settle down from one place to another with the family after retiring, for which the time of allowance submission was very short by 60 days which has now been increased. Under this facility, the central employee retiring can now submit travel expenses for up to 6 months after his journey. However, keep in mind that the ta claim submission deadline for tours, transfers and training will remain for 60 days. This is good news about the pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission of NVS Principals before the restoration of DA from July 1. However, if even three outstanding dearness allowances are allowed in the meeting with the Government on 26th June, it will be a gold suhaga. The DA of central employees will increase after 18 months.
