These bomb blasts took place outside temples and in main markets. 9 bombs were planted all over Jaipur, out of which 8 blasted and many people died. According to media reports, 73 people were killed in these bomb blasts, while 185 were injured. In this case, 1293 witnesses and many evidences were presented in the court, yet all the accused were successful in acquittal. The names of Shahbaz Hussain, Mohammad Saif, Mohammad Sarwar Azmi, Saifur Rahman and Mohammad Salman were mainly included in the accused of these serial blasts. Some of the accused in this case were also convicted by the lower court, but when the matter reached the Rajasthan High Court, all were acquitted.
