Mumbai: Maharashtra's strongman Sharad Pawar has announced to quit the post of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief. Now with this the political temperature has risen in the state. After this decision of Sharad Power, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is also seen to be divided. A day after Pawar's announcement, a tussle has started between Congress and Shiv Sena. At the same time, the Uddhav Thackeray army is calling Pawar's resignation a big blow.

Maharashtra Congress unit chief Nana Patole has given sharp words to Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut. Patole has bluntly told Raut not to interfere in the work of the Congress. Along with this, Nana Patole has also said that Sanjay Raut is not the spokesperson of Congress and hence he should not speak anything regarding the party (Congress). Notably, Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP are part of the MVA alliance. In fact, Raut had said that even though Mallikarjun Kharge is the national president of the Congress, Rahul Gandhi takes the decisions. On this, Nana Patole has made it clear that Raut should not make any statement regarding the prestige of the Gandhi family.

On the announcement of Pawar's resignation, Raut said, 'Sharad Pawar's resignation is a big blow to the country's politics. But, if such a decision is taken from his side, then definitely there will be political upheaval in the country and Maharashtra. We will decide in the coming days what to do next. We are keeping an eye on the entire development.
