AHMEDABAD: Not only Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, but the problems of his MLA son Abbas Ansari are also increasing continuously. The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Monday (August 29) rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Abbas Ansari, the MLA from Mau Sadar and the elder son of Mukhtar Ansari in the Arms case. At present 80 cases are going on against 6 people of Mukhtar's family. Let us tell you that Mukhtar Ansari has been imprisoned for nearly 17 years and during this time he has reportedly been in controversies regarding his gang operation from jail itself. If the reality is seen, then for the last two years, Mukhtar is serving a sentence, before that he lived in jail for 15 years and lived in all the luxuries, even he had dug a pond in the jail. In the last two years, Mukhtar and his family members (wife, son, brother and close aides) are facing several criminal cases. Of these, 7 cases are registered against Mukhtar Ansari, two against his wife Afsha, four against elder son Abbas, two cases against younger son Umar and two cases against Mukhtar's two brothers-in-law Atif Raza alias Sharjeel Raza and Anwar Shahzad. Barring Umar Ansari, all others are said to be absconding and the court has declared all of them as absconders. According to the records of the Uttar Pradesh Police, there are a total of 59 cases registered against Ansari, out of which 20 cases were registered while he was in jail. Of these, four are registered under the murder case and 7 under the UP Gangster Act.
