Another shocking incident comes to light in which a 50-year-old Muslim man was arrested in Kanpur for faking his identity to lure a Hindu girl from Bihar and her harassed her. As per Kanpur Police, The 50-year-old man has been identified as Shahenshah Alam. Shahenshah Alam had allegedly befreinded with the girl from Motihari district on Facebook. The man had introduced himself as Sachin Sharma instead of Shahenshah Alam and also posted a different picture on his social media account. The victim came in contact with Shahenshah Alam a few months ago who had promised to marry her and get a job for her in Kanpur. According to her complaint, the girl from Bihar accused the 50-year-old of luring her by concealing his religious identity. The girl claimed that Alam asked her to visit him at a hotel in Kanpur's Copperganj area. Shahenshah Alam was wearing a mask, switched off the light as soon he entered the hotel room and also tried to molest the girl. When the girl switched on the lights, she was shocked to see a 50-year-old man standing in front of him. The victim immediately raised an alarm after which the hotel staff alerted the police. The Bajrang Dal workers also visited the hotel and demanded strict action against the accused. ACP TB Singh spoke about the incident that a 50 year old aged man, Shahenshah Alam, a bike mechanic by profession, lured the Bihar girl. Further investigation is going on in the matter.
