Man give Triple over dowry, wife seeks help from PM and CM

Lucknow: A case of triple talaq has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district. The victim told that 5 days ago her husband gave her triple talaq. The victim woman says that she complained to the local police station, but the police administration helped her. The victim has sought help by sending letters to the PM and CM through Superintendent of Police Shamli after five days.

Even though the law on triple talaq has been passed in Uttar Pradesh, even after this, the triple talaq cases are not freezing. The case is from Kandhla in Shamli district, a woman from the town told that her marriage took place 8 years ago with Wasim, a resident of Sujudu village in Muzaffarnagar district. He has two daughters. Her husband and in-laws troubles her and beat her for dowry.

On September 8, her husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law came to her maternal home and started scrambling with her brother and her. When the aggrieved woman protested, her husband divorced her three times saying divorce. The victim woman says that she had demanded action against the accused husband on September 9 at Kandhla police station, but the police have not registered a case against him till date.
