A shocking incident comes to light from Gujarat’s Surat district on Sunday where a man allegedly stabbed his ex-wife with a contaminated syringe and fled away The man had been detained by the police for the incident. As per the information, the accused had divorced his wife two months prior. He asked her out on Christmas Day with their two kids. He injected the syringe to stab the victim before running away. As per the police official, the victim went to the closest police station after she started feeling weak and sleepy. She was taken urgently to a private hospital for treatment. After she had recovered, the police had her statement recorded. The accused had called her to meet him along with his two sons and in the evening he attacked her with injections. With this, the accused told the police that, 'He had obtained a poisonous syringe from the Civil Hospital'. The officer said, 'What was in the syringe is being investigated. Information about this will be available after the report comes from the Forensic Science Laboratory. According to the police, the accused said that he got the infected syringe from a public hospital. He allegedly attacked her by injecting HIV+ infected blood. As per the information the accused was requesting his ex-wife to return, which he had turned down. Hurt by this, he injected the woman with HIV positive infected blood. The couple was married 15 years ago and got divorced due to some domestic dispute. The accused had called her to meet him along with his two sons and in the evening he attacked her with injections. With this, the accused told the police that, 'He had obtained a poisonous syringe from the Civil Hospital'. The officer said, 'What was in the syringe is being investigated.
