A man kills minor for trespassing his room to watch television

Gurugram: A 20-year-old man was arrested by the police for allegedly killing a boy on the premises of a private wood-cutting mill near Lotus Graden in Gadoli Khurd. The incident happened in Sector 37 on Sunday at around 1:30 AM.

 According to the report, the accused was angry at the victim for entering his room to watch television. The minor deceased was identified as Rahul Khan, who had come to stay with his father at his workplace who was asleep.

The  police officials told Hindustan Times (HT) that the accused broke the grill of the room where the boy was sleeping, using a steel rod and he then allegedly smothered him to death using a towel and a pillow. 

The police further informed that the accused has confessed chocking the victim and he further added that the victim often used to trespass his room for watching TV and despite his repeated warnings he did not stop. The duo had altercations multiple times over the issue, in past as well.

The Station House Officer, sector 10 A police station told HT “the suspect said that when he used to warn the victim, he was often rebuked and the boy misbehaved with him. So he killed him to exact revenge." Reportedly, the suspect doesn't have a criminal record.
