Mumbai: A top stockbroker and businessman have been arrested from a hotel in west Mumbai on charges of sexually assaulting a struggling actress in Mumbai. A case has been registered against stockbroker Jignesh Mehta at the Andheri MIDC police station for attempting to sexually assault the actress and model at a hotel in Mumbai's western suburb. The broker is accused of sexual harassment and molestation. The same Mehta had asked the victim to meet her in a hotel room at Andheri MIDC in Mumbai. Mehta had told the victim that he knew many Bollywood makers and that he would get the victim work. Mehta had asked the victim to attend dinner in the hotel room on Friday. When the victim went to Mehta's room, he tried to sexually exploit the victim and tried to take off her clothes. His friend was also there. The victim resisted this and started shouting for help. Hearing her screams, the hotel staff rushed and rescued the victim. Subsequently, the hotel staff caught hold of Mehta and handed him over to the MIDC police station in Andheri.
