A pharmacist killing a staff in Sivagangai government medical college hospital for having illegitimate affair with his mother has turned out to be a shocker for people of the area. A youth was arrested on Wednesday on the charge of stabbing a man to death inside Government Medical College in Sivaganga. The deceased, identified as S Tamil Selvan (40) was working as a temporary pharmacist there. also read: T-shirt helped Bengaluru cops to crack a murder case According to the sources, yesterday around 11 AM, Thamizh Selvan was taking care of the out patients in the hospital and was giving them medicines. A person named Arun Kumar entered the area and started an argument with Thamizh Selvan, and following the argument, he took a knife and stabbed Thamizh Selvan who died on spot. Police said Tamil Selvan befriended the youth’s mother and their friendship developed into an affair. A month ago, the two reportedly went missing from their respective houses for some days. When the youth phoned Tamil Selvan, he allegedly told the youth to look for her in other places “as she might have eloped with someone else”. Irked over the reply, the youth went to the hospital and stabbed Tamil Selvan with a knife on his chest and stomach multiple times. Tamil Selvam died on the spot.
