Delhi MCD by-election: AAP's Emperor continues, wins 4 seats out of 5

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won 4 out of 5 seats in the by-election in the 5 seats of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Trilokpuri, Rohini C, Kalyanpuri, and Shalimar Bagh seats have been won by AAP. While 1 seat Congress candidate Chauhan Bangar won. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not win a single seat in these elections.

The counting of the by-elections of the ward (MCD bypoll) started today at 8:00 am. The turnout for the 5 wards was around 51 percent, and the winning trends of the Aam Aadmi Party were beginning to pick up just 1 hour after the opening of all 440 EVM machines. Looking at the elections to be held in all 272 MCD wards early next year, the three major political parties Aam Aadmi Party, BJP, Congress are seeing this by-election as a semi-final. That is why the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the Congress had committed their lives to the competition.

For this election, many leaders including CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Adesh Gupta, Manoj Tiwari, Anil Kumar, public relations and sought votes. There are 2.42 voters in these wards and 1.23 lakh of them have exercised their franchise. The highest vote percentage was in Kalyanpuri 59.19% and the lowest voting was recorded in Shalimar Bagh at 43.23%.
