Big blow to AAP ahead of elections, many leaders joined BJP

Shimla: Assembly elections are due in Himachal Pradesh this year. But even before the elections, the AAP has suffered another setback. Along with the head of the State Mahila Morcha, many leaders have taken over the reins of the BJP. The party dissolved the state unit after the mass resignation.

On Monday, Himachal Pradesh's AAP Mahila Morcha chief Mamta Thakur, vice-president Sangeeta, social media vice-president Ashish Kumar and DK Tyagi joined the BJP. Earlier on April 8, state president Anup Kesri and two other leaders had joined the BJP.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has dissolved its state-level organisation in the state. Now the party will rebuild its organisation on merit in view of the next assembly elections. This information has been given through a letter from AP's state election in charge Satyendra Jain. It has been reported that AAP is dissolving the state-level organization of Himachal Pradesh under the formation of the organization as per the merit. While the assembly level organization will continue. Recently, AAP state president Anup Kesari, organisation general secretary Satish Thakur and Una president Iqbal Singh joined the BJP in the presence of Anurag Thakur at JP Nadda's residence. Due to this, Union Minister Anurag Thakur had said that the people of Himachal never tolerate their humiliation, so the three leaders of AAP have joined the BJP for their own self-respect and the self-respect of Himachal.
