AAP leader Sanjay Singh attacks Yogi government

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party veteran and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said on Wednesday that the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is trying to portray him as 'notorious'. He has attacked the BJP government for registering a case against him in the state. No one has reacted to Singh's claim on behalf of the state unit of the BJP.

Complaints have been filed against Sanjay Singh in Lakhimpur Kheri, Sant Kabir Nagar, Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, and Greater Noida for allegedly creating animosity between the two communities and similar charges. He claimed that these cases have been lodged because he wants to get the state government to face reality.

Senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party and member of the Upper House, Sanjay Singh said, "Uttar Pradesh government has filed 9 cases against me on the instigation of CM Yogi Adityanath because I want to show mirror to the BJP-led government of Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi government is engaged in projecting me as notorious."
