Abhimanyu Mithun takes five wickets in an over in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy semifinal

Syed Mushtaq Ali being played between Karnataka and Haryana, Karnataka fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun bowled a hat-trick wicket in the first semi-final of the tournament. Mithun took five wickets in the last over of Haryana's innings and scattered the balls of the Haryana batsmen four times in four consecutive balls.

Born on 5 October 1989 in Bangalore, Team India and Karnataka fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun made history on the day of their first birthday with a hat-trick in the 50th over of the innings, playing for Karnataka in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Tamil Nadu. In this innings too, he took a total of five wickets in his name and he became the first bowler from Karnataka to take a hat-trick in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The cricketing journey of Abhimanyu Mithun, the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament, has not been easy for Karnataka. Very few people know that Mithun was a javelin thrower at the beginning. He has also tried his hand at the state level. Abhimanyu Mithun, former fast bowler of Team India, has been issued a notice for questioning in the case of betting in KPL. Joint Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil said that Mithun has been asked to appear before the CCB for questioning. Mithun will be asked some questions related to the previous season of Karnataka Premier League.
