Lucknow: A man was arrested in Lucknow for making threatening comments on Facebook. During a Facebook Live session, he was arrested for making derogatory and abusive statements about the Central government, police, and other dignitaries. Fahim Khan of Thakurganj, the accused, is a Jaunpur native. He had been missing for a few days after conducting the live session. On Monday, he was apprehended in the city's Langda Phatak neighbourhood. Fahim allegedly used abusive language against the government and citizens, according to the police. He slammed the cops and tried to sabotage the community's peace. The police opened an investigation after receiving a complaint for making, publishing, or circulating any statement or report containing rumour or alarming news with the intent to incite or promote feelings of enmity and hatred. "We sought help from cyber experts and located the accused," Manak Nagar Station House Officer (SHO) Subodh Kumar said. Fahim worked for a shipping company in Qatar, according to the police.
