AC-cooler business will collapse in lockdown, traders will lose billions

New Delhi: Due to the rising havoc of the deadly coronavirus, the lockdown in the country has been extended till 3 May. In such a situation, the business of selling AC, cooler refrigerator etc. is afraid of being completely destroyed. Traders say that even if the business starts in May, their business will break down by 30 to 40 percent and the traders of the whole country will lose billions.

However, in the time of such crisis, he is seen standing fully with the country. Actually, April is the best month for sale of AC, cooler, refrigerator etc. and this month is going into complete lockdown. Most people buy AC, cooler or refrigerator in the beginning of summer season i.e. April. Bandhi in this month means the loss of the entire year's earnings, because its season comes only once a year and that too at its peak in April.

Lalit, the owner of a showroom in Green Park, Delhi, says, 'Our business will collapse this year due to the lockdown. But this is a crisis in which nothing can be done. If you talk about AC, fridge and cooler this year due to this crisis, then their sales can fall by 30 to 40 percent.
