Kabul: After the Taliban entered Kabul and influenced the whole of Afghanistan, the organization has now started taking decisions related to the country's policies. In the same vein, on the occasion of the completion of 102 years of the country's independence, the Taliban leadership has also announced the formation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Taliban spokesman Zabeeullah Mujahid has said that the Islamic Emirate wants good diplomatic and trade relations with all countries. We have not negotiated a trade with any country so far. The Taliban's announcement comes four days after it captured its capital Kabul. A senior Taliban leader Waheedullah Hashimi told the media that after the formation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, a council of main Taliban leaders will now be formed to run power in the country. The Taliban leader further said that the council will be led by Taliban chief Haibatullah Akhundzada. At the same time, Afghanistan will have the post of the supreme leader, just like Iran. According to Hashimi, the way Afghanistan is to be ruled is yet to be decided, but Afghanistan will not be a democracy. He said there can be no democratic system in the country as democracy has no basis in Afghanistan. Only Sharia law can apply here and we are already clear in this regard.
