In Mumbai, ED is currently investigating raids in connection with the Union Bank fraud case case. Meanwhile, rumours of an ED raid on the house of Faraz Malik, son of Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik, were seen rising on which the leader himself has now issued a statement. Nawab Malik has suppressed rumours that ED his son Faraz's house has not been raided. In fact, the companies named in the union bank fraud case include the name of Nawab's son Faraz as the shareholder of a company. However, Nawab Malik has said that he has not yet been given any information that has been raided at Faraj's house. According to ED sources, searches are currently underway at some places but the locations where it has not been disclosed. Where it is learnt that nawab malik tweeted on Twitter the previous day claiming that some government guests are coming to his house today. He said he was going to welcome these government guests with tea and cookies. Nawab Malik has further hit out and said that if he needs the right address, he can call him and ask him. Nawab Malik has to declare that he is being treated the same way he was treated by previous Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He has stated that they are making every attempt to accuse him of bogus cases. Deshmukh had been arrested in connection with a money-laundering investigation, he claimed.
