Vedaant, son of Bollywood and South actor R Madhavan, is a national-level swimmer. Madhavan's son Vedaant had brought glory to his father by winning the swimming competition. He had been in the news for some time now. Vedaant is scheduled to represent India at the 2026 Olympics. The actor recently revealed in a media interaction that he and his wife Sarita have shifted to Dubai to help their son Vedaant prepare for the Olympics.  Madhavan said he has shifted to Dubai because India does not have an Olympic-sized pool.

R Madhavan has said in a media interview that his son has started preparing for the Olympics. Large swimming bridges are open and close in Dubai. So we've decided to shift here. Vedaant is preparing for the Olympics and Sarita and I are with them. The actor has said that Mumbai's big swimming pool is closed due to covid. In that case, he and his wife do not want Vedaant to face any obstacles in preparation. The actor has said that it was very necessary to help prepare for the international tournament.

Madhavan was asked if he wanted his son to become an actor. In response, Madhavan has said that I never thought about it. My wife and I are going to support whatever our son wants to do.
