After Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav will now host an Iftar party

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had organised an Iftar party at his official residence on Friday, i.e., April 7. During this time, a large number of Muslims reached the CM House. Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and former Chief Minister of the state Jitan Ram Manjhi also participated in this Iftar party organised at the Chief Minister's residence. Along with this, Congress MLA Shakeel Ahmed Khan also attended this iftar party.

However, questions also arose about this Iftar party organised at the CM's residence. The BJP refused to attend Nitish's iftar party. The Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Vijay Kumar Sinha, stating the reason for this, said that Bihar is burning in the fire of violence. Law and order have collapsed, and the Chief Minister is giving an Iftar party. We do not want to attend such an Iftar party. BJP leader Vijay Sinha said that Nitish brought RJD to power through Chor Darwaza. On the other hand, in the midst of this controversy, RJD has also announced that it will have a separate Iftar party. RJD leader and Deputy CM of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, has tweeted that he is organising an Iftar party for Sunday, April 9. However, users are also lashing out at Tejashwi for this on social media.

Nitish Kumar's party JDU has been organising such events for the last several years to keep the Muslim vote bank in its fold. In 2022, when Nitish Kumar organised an Iftar party, all the leaders were invited. RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav had also reached the Iftar party of the year 2022. Nitish Kumar welcomed Tej Pratap and Tejashwi by wearing a shawl. At that time, RJD was not a part of the Bihar government. However, it is believed that the script to break away from the BJP and form government with RJD was written by Nitish Kumar at this iftar party.
