After criticism of the Maharashtra government, Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray praises each other

Jalgaon: CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP President Sharad Pawar praised each other a day after the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government was vilified for allowing the Bhima Koregaon case to be handed over to the NIA. While speaking to the media in Kolhapur on Friday, February 14, 2020, Pawar said that it is not right to hand over the investigation of the Elgar Parishad case from Pune Police to NIA by the Central Government. But, it is more wrong to support the transfer of lawsuit by the state government.

Pawar praised Thackeray's photography skills: It has been learned that while addressing a farmers rally in Jalgaon district on Saturday, 15 February 2020, Pawar praised Thackeray's photography skills. The NCP president said that Maharashtra has got a good photographer who has taken a picture of a tiger like Chandrakant Patil. His reference was to local independent candidate Chandrakant Patil, who defeated the daughter of BJP's strongman Eknath Khadse in the October 2019 assembly elections. On this, Uddhav said without naming Khadse that since there was a tiger like Chandrakant Patil, everyone backed away.

Uddhav called the NCP chief his guide, the challenge given to the BJP to topple the government: It has also been said that Thackeray also told Pawar his guide. He said that when I work as Chief Minister, the blessings of people and guidance of Sharad Pawar Saheb remain with me. Thackeray also challenged the opposition BJP to bring down the government.
