Now blast in Pakistan's Quetta after Peshawar, many injured

Islamabad: A massive bomb blast has occurred in Quetta in Pakistan's Balochistan province, in which many people have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. According to Pakistani news site Dawn.com, on Sunday (February 5) morning, there was an explosion near the FC Musa checkpoint, in which more than five people were injured.  

According to local media reports, the blast took place at a safe place near the Quetta police headquarters and the entrance of Quetta Cantonment. The video is going viral on social media after the incident, but the number of casualties is unknown. Edhi activist Zeeshan Ahmed, who was leading the rescue operation at the spot, told the media that the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital in Quetta. Police and emergency teams have reached the spot and the area has been cordoned off, he said.

Over 100 people were killed and over 150 others injured when a Taliban suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque packed with worshippers during afternoon prayers in a high-security area in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Monday. Most of them were policemen.
