New Delhi: The Test series between India and Australia is starting from 9 February. The battle between the two teams on the cricket field is very interesting. An anecdote has also come to light from this series, where the Indian cricketer lied to former head coach Ravi Shastri.

Former Indian team fielding coach RK Sridhar has mentioned an anecdote in his book. R Sridhar has said that everyone remembers Gaba's battle in the 2-1 series win against Australia, but the partnership between Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin did wonders in the third Test which was a draw. Actually, it so happened that Team India had to save the match and these two batsmen were left. Then Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri called Shardul Thakur, who was not playing in that match. He told Shardul to tell Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin that Vihari will play fast bowlers, Ashwin will play spin, and will not take any single.
 
Shardul Thakur said OK to Ravi Shastri here, but when he reached Vihari-Ashwin, he said that many things have been said from the inside, but both of you are doing better and just keep playing on your own terms.
