Agriculture budget will be presented for the first time in Tamil Nadu as the third state in India

Chennai: It is expected that 50 percent of the budget in the separate budget for the agriculture sector will be used for agriculture. In Tamil Nadu, the cabinet headed by Chief Minister Stalin presented the general budget for the first time yesterday. This budget was presented as a paperless budget.

A few days ago, Agriculture Minister MRK Panneer held consultations with wealthy agricultural organizations on the features to be included in this. For the first time in the history of Tamil Nadu  Agriculture budget to be tabled as the third state in India This should include various incentives to promote organic farming. Chemical fertilizers should be banned. 50 percent of the 100-day work plan should be used for agriculture.

To create new agricultural colleges in the Cauvery Delta districts. Lake ponds need to be rehabilitated to maximize water management. Farmers have put forward demands including the need to build more dams.
