AgustaWestland case: Delhi court sends summons to company director and Rajiv Saxena

New Delhi: In the AgustaWestland Helicopter Scam case, the Delhi Avenue Court summoned to businessman Rajiv Saxena as well as AgastaWestland International directors Giacomino Sapnaro, Sandeep Tyagi and other accused. The next hearing of the case will be held on 23 October. A few days ago, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a supplementary charge sheet.

Among the 15 people whose names are listed in the chargesheet, Sandeep Tyagi, Praveen Bakshi, Pratap Krishna Aggarwal (the then Managing Director of IDS Infotech Limited), Narendra Kumar Jain, Rajesh Kumar Jain of Kolkata, Sunil Kothari (erstwhile of Om Metals Infotech Pvt. Ltd.) Managing Director), Christian Mitchell's associate KV Kunhikrishnan (former GM, Westland Support Services Limited). Also named are Rajiv Saxena (erstwhile Director of Interstellar Technologies Limited), Giacomino Sapanaro (Managing Director of AgustaWestland International Limited), Deepak Goel, IDS Infotech Limited, Aerometrics Info Solutions, Neil Madhav Consultants, Manc Agency and Interstellar Technologies Limited CBI has filed in its charge sheet.

In this case, 15 people have been accused. Along with this, it has also been said that fraud has been created by opening fake bank accounts in many banks. It has been alleged in the charge sheet that the two accused, through their New Delhi-based company, acquired a company based in Kolkata in 2009, in order to legalize the illegal money.
