AIIMS director Randeep Guleria says India needs mini lockdown

New Delhi: Corona's havoc in the country is constantly increasing. Meanwhile, Delhi AIIMS director Randeep Guleria has warned the authorities that the second wave of Corona may be at its peak this month and a mini lockdown is needed to stop the spread of the deadly virus in the country. Earlier on Friday, he had emphasized that the situation in the country is very worrisome in relation to the corona epidemic, as the cases are increasing continuously, especially in the last few days.

Please tell that Dr. Guleria is a member of the National Task Force for Corona Management. He said that people do not want to wear masks or maintain physical distance even after the rapid spread of corona. During the first wave of Corona, it took several months in the country to cross the figure of 70,000 cases, but this time we are seeing cases growing very fast. The same situation is seen in the national capital Delhi.

Total 93,249 new cases of the corona were reported in India on Sunday, which is the highest number of cases of covid-19 that came in a single day this year. With this, the total number of cases of infection in the country has increased to 1,24,85,509. The Union Health Ministry has given information in this regard. According to the data, these are the highest number of cases of coronavirus infection reported since September 19. On September 19, 93,337 cases of covid-19 were registered. But on Sunday, March 4, the number of dead has increased to 1,64,623 due to the loss of 513 more people due to the epidemic.
