Lucknow: The three-day session of the Legislative assembly in Uttar Pradesh started on Thursday. On the first day, Samajwadi Party leaders staged a sit-in targeting the BJP government. They shouted slogans against the government, accusing the state of not following law and order and not being able to curb COVID-19.

Earlier, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that this session of UP assembly will be historic in many ways. The government will also have to answer the questions of its people with the opposition on the front of COVID-19, unemployment caste oppression and unabiding law and order. Instead of reconciliation, the BJP government has become the reason for 'internal strife'.

In another tweet, he shared news from his Twitter account raising questions on the law and order of the state. He said that crime has increased considerably in Uttar Pradesh. He tweeted that the incident of kidnapping and murder of a female doctor at SN Medical College in Agra is very sad. Under the BJP government, the women of the state are neither safe in the cities, nor in the towns, nor in the villages. It seems that now crime has become supreme in UP". He has raised questions against the BJP government. On the other hand, cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state. Every effort is being made to deal with it, but no results have been seen so far".
