Akhilesh Yadav gearing up for mission UP to address rally in Mawana today

Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has started preparations for the next year's assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. SP president Akhilesh Yadav will address a rally in Mawana, Meerut on Tuesday and will also unveil the statue of Shaheed Dhan Singh Kotwal, who belongs to the Gurjar community. It is considered the area of Yogesh Verma, a Dalit leader who left the BSP and came to the SP. Akhilesh has thus devised a strategy to strengthen his political and social equation by helping Gurjars and Dalits in western UP.

Actually, in western UP, Dalit voters are considered very important after Muslims and Jats. BSP supremo Mayawati is considered a special hold on Dalit votes. At the same time, the Gurjar community has once been a traditional voter of the Congress and the SP, but at the moment it is strongly connected in favor of the BJP. On the pretext of the Kisan movement, the National General Secretary of Congress Party Priyanka Gandhi, RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary, and Arvind Kejriwal have addressed the Kisan Panchayat in Meerut. After this, Akhilesh Yadav will start Mission 2022 from Mawana in Meerut.

SP leader Atul Pradhan said that party president Akhilesh Yadav will unveil the statue of Shaheed Dhan Singh Kotwal at Navjivan Kisan Degree College along with a rally in Mawana. To make this rally a success, the SP has appealed to people to come together from village to village.
