In this era of corona infection, all Bollywood celebs are helping the needy. Now a name has been included in the same list of Akshay Kumar. He has been helping people for a long time and now he has once again come forward to help. Last Sunday, he extended his hand to help choreographer Ganesh Acharya with monthly ration expenses of 3600 dancers. These dancers are registered with Ganesh Acharya's Foundation. A dancer said they have been given two options, either taking a month's money in their accounts or taking rations needed for the family of four people. On the other hand, in an interview to a website, Ganesh Acharya said, "Akshay is very kind. Yesterday was my 50th birthday. He asked me what gifts I wanted on this occasion. I asked him if he could help 1600 junior choreographers and elderly dancers and 2000 background dancers by giving monthly rations. He immediately got ready. My wife is deeply involved in this activity through the Ganesh Acharya Foundation. They are personally overseeing packing and distribution, which is done sector-wise keeping in view all health and safety standards. Dancers and choreographers registered with us can either take money for their basic needs or take ration kits full of one month's necessities to feed a small family. The decision is theirs.'' The cinema bodies in Maharashtra have approached chief minister Uddhav Thackeray's office to allow him to start shooting in the state from next month. Talking to the website, Ganesh Acharya said, "We have constantly rehearsed for our songs without breaking any protocol. Dance troops are all set to make a splash. All preparations are for us, if the shooting is on. We have songs from films like Ram Setu, CirKus and Brahmastra. Once the shooting starts, my team will be ready in no time." Talking about Akshay's work, he currently has films like Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Ray, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Ramsetu and Bell Bottom whole some of them are going to release soon.
