Bengal elections: First phase of ground ends, all eyes on Nandigram seats

After the first phase of polling in Bengal, all eyes have now been on Nandigram hotseat. There is stiff competition between CM Mamata Banerjee and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. Both TMC and BJP have engaged their big leaders for this high profile seat. Mamata Banerjee is going to live in Nandigram from Sunday. She is going to stay there till the campaign ends on Tuesday. So far, Mamata Banerjee has visited Nandigram once.

Amit Shah to hold road show on 30th: Home Minister Amit Shah will launch a road show in Nandigram on Tuesday. Former Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is also going to be part of the roadshow here. He has already made a rally in support of Modi's officer. UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath has campaigned for the BJP here. It is believed that Mithun Chakraborty can succeed in wooing voters here.

Mamata Banerjee, who has camped in Nandigram, is going to have programme till the end of campaigning. The officer brothers have also made retaliatory preparations. The thrust of both the parties is that Panna chief and polling agents are able to bring voters to the centres on April 1.  According to the information received, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari said, "Let them preach" in response to a question on the continuous programme in Nandigram of Mamata Banerjee. In a democracy, it is the right of the candidate. We are also preaching. Officer Bandhu is also engaged in the last phase of campaigning under the strategy so that the voter's trends are not towards Mamata.
